Thank you for joining us for our Fishing Derby in honor of Walter W. Jollie who passed away in 2019. His love for fishing, especially with his children and grandchildren has prompted us to spread the joy of fishing with local children. We look forward to seeing you!
This is a FREE event. Limit to 50 participants.

Date: August 23, 2025
Time: 9am registration
Fishing: 9:30am - 10:30am
Awards and Prizes: 11:00am
This is a rain or shine event
Fishing Derby open to children ages 4 -12 years
Child must have own fishing pole
One pole, with one hook per child in the water at a time
Parents/ Guardians may help in the following ways: Baiting the hook, Casting the line and Netting the fish
Child must reel in / catch fish with no help from a parent
No lures allowed
Worms will be supplied
No lines in the water before 9:30am
There will be three age groups - 5 years and under, 6-9 years, and 10-12 years.
Medals will be awarded for Biggest Fish, Smallest Fish, Most Fish caught and a trophy and grand prize trophy for largest overall fish.
